Welcome to "WE, ISRAELITES". The Most High, Father of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob defined his relations with men by claiming exclusive rights in worshipping.EX 20:1-3 & DE 13:1-18. To be intimately connected with us, He did specify to mankind the language and the mean to communicate with HIM: "OUR FATHER..." Mat 6,9-13. He could not be more explicite.
Instead of responding to the call, men adopted the culture of idolatry which is tagged by excess. We recall idolatry is, in general, identified by worshipping another god instead of The Most High. The price to pay for this infraction is huge. ACT 7:43. however, among all men's idols, the cross is the most intriguing one for it symbolizes the Paganism and the Christianism union in the most sophisticated form.
The Christian churches except for the 7th day Adventists and perhaps line a few other consider the cross as a relic in reference to the death of Christ, regardless of its origin dating back to the era of the Emperor Constantine Legrand. The latter, the legislator of the sun god, solicited and obtained from the Papacy the adoption of this pagan culture characterized by the observation of Sunday and the veneration of the cross.
