While we are still pursuing our search on the word "YHWH",
we were lucky to be able
to take a glance at THE WITCHES’ GODS
whose Janet & Stewart Farrar are the authors.
We feel compell to share with you a pertinent
revelation noted in page 50
"The pagan world as a whole, observed the cult of tolerance,
, themselves as entities each reflecting the local profile
without being knife
torn as enemies."
(Could that be the model chosen by the Vicar of Rome to promote his religious belief through the globe) And the author reveal:
"However, the Hebrews, on their side,
their god was the only one and the true god. Let's say they were,
it seems, packaged, or guided by prudence,
to see the other gods as their inferiors.
"God presides in the great assembly.
He judges among the gods" (Palms 82:1)
And Baal word meaning "Lord"
was often used instead of the Lord - this is not surprising,
because Yahweh and the gods Cananites notemment
EL Baal and shared many attributes. El that preceded all other gods,
he himself was the chief god.
Baal represented the agricultural and environmental aspects, most importantly maybe the privileged Levites the eyes of the common man.
