DEUTERONOMY 33:13-17 |
13 Of Joseph he said, Blessed of The LORD be his land, For the precious things of the heavens, for the dew, For the deep that couches beneath,
14 For the precious things of the fruits of the sun, For the precious things of the growth of the moons,
15 For the chief things of the ancient mountains, For the precious things of the everlasting hills,
16 For the precious things of the earth and the fullness of it, The good will of him who lived in the bush. Let [the blessing] come on the head of Joseph, On the crown of the head of him who was separate from his brothers.
17 The firstborn of his herd, majesty is his; His horns are the horns of the wild-ox: With them he shall push the peoples all of them, [even] the ends of the earth: They are the ten thousands of Ephraim, They are the thousands of Manasseh.

5 Now don`t be grieved, nor angry with yourselves, that you sold me here,
for God sent me before you to preserve life.
| GEN 48:17-20 |
17 When Joseph saw that his father laid his right hand on the head of Ephraim, it displeased him. He held up his father`s hand, to remove it from Ephraim`s head to Manasseh`s head.
18 Joseph said to his father, "Not so, my father; for this is the firstborn; put your right hand on his head."
19 His father refused, and said, "I know, my son, I know. He also will become a people, and he also will be great. However, his younger brother will be greater than he, and his seed will become a multitude of nations."
20 He blessed them that day, saying, "In you will Israel bless, saying,
`God make you as Ephraim and as Manasseh`" He set Ephraim before Manasseh.

| DET 28:58-64 |
58 If you will not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that you may fear this glorious and fearful name, The LORD YOUR GOD;
59 then The LORD will make your plagues wonderful, and the plagues of your seed, even great plagues, and of long continuance, and sore sicknesses, and of long continuance.
60 He will bring on you again all the diseases of Egypt, which you were afraid of; and they shall cleave to you.
61 Also every sickness, and every plague, which is not written in the book of this law, them will The LORD bring on you, until you be destroyed.
62 You shall be left few in number, whereas you were as the stars of the sky for multitude; because you didn`t listen to the voice of The LORD your God.
63 It shall happen that as The LORD rejoiced over you to do you good, and to multiply you, so The LORD will rejoice over you to cause you to perish, and to destroy you; and you shall be plucked from off the land where you go in to possess it.
64 The LORD will scatter you among all peoples, from the one end of the earth even to the other end of the earth; and there you shall serve other gods, which you have not known, you nor your fathers, even wood and stone.
